NEW!!  Puppy Class beginning 12/6  This 4 week class at the Homestead in Penn Yan will help you get off to a positive start with your puppy.  Puppies must have proof of rabies vaccine to enroll in class.  Class size limited to 6 puppies.  To enroll, please contact Gail through email deepeace.rural@gmail.com  Enrollment fee $60. CLASS IS FULL

K9 Healers WINTER 2018 Session begins Wednesday January 10th at the Homestead in Penn Yan      

Level 1 – 8:15-9:15 p.m.  

 Level 1 class is designed to prepare you and your dog to work in a group setting.  Using lots of positive reinforcement, you will learn to teach your dog to pay attention, sit, lay down, stay in position and heel on a loose leash.  Your dog will become a well mannered member of your family and community.

Level 2 – 7:00-8:00 p.m.

 Level 2 class is designed to prepare you and your dog for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen test (www.akc.org/events/cgc/program.cfm) The Canine Good Citizen title demonstrates that your dog is a welcome and well respected member of your family and the community.

Participants in both classes learn about good nutrition, basic first aid for animals, how to read a dog’s body language and massage techniques using therapeutic essential oils.

Classes are limited to eight dogs per class.  Class is 8 weeks

Cost of these classes is $110.

 AKC COMMUNITY CANINE CLASS

SPRING 2018 session begins in May date TBD      

This 6 week class will prepare you for the Community Canine Evaluation http://www.akc.org/dog-owners/training/akc-community-canine/  Class will take place in various locations within the Penn Yan Community.  Enrollment fee is $95.  Class size limited to 6 dogs.  Please email Gail if interested: deepeace.rural@gmail.com  In order to enroll in this class, your dog must have a Canine Good Citizen certificate
